What is NDIS?

- The NDIS is progressively introduced across all states and territories in Australia and funding is providing to people who are born with a disability of some sort.
- Essentially, there is no discrimination in the provision of the NDIS across Australia. The NDIS is intended to provide support to people who are disabled in a bid to help them transition into a more stable and capable life.
- The NDIS became operational in 2020 and the goal is to provide funding for 500,000 Australians who are disabled.
IMPORTANCE OF NDIS
NDIS is a framework that recognises the all-important needs of disabled persons and provides the necessary resources that could support the needs of disabled persons. The NDIS facilitates equitable provision of services that cushions the struggles of the disabled person.
